METROLOGY TECHNICIAN / DIMENSIONAL CONTROL M/F

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of the ongoing development of our business, we are looking for:

A METROLOGY TECHNICIAN / DIMENSIONAL CONTROL M/F

Integrated within a Quality / Metrology team, you will ensure the dimensional control and conformity of parts and equipment, using conventional measurement tools and coordinate measuring machines (CMM / 3D machine).

In this capacity, your main missions will be:

• Performing dimensional and geometric controls of parts in accordance with applicable drawings, specifications, and requirements;
• Implementing measurements using a coordinate measuring machine (CMM / 3D machine);
• Using various control tools: caliper, micrometer, dial indicator, measuring column, profile projector, gauges;
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, dimensioning, and geometric tolerances;
• Preparing parts and defining suitable control methods;
• Exploiting and analyzing measurement results;
• Writing control reports and records;
• Identifying and reporting observed deviations or non-conformities;
• Participating in the monitoring of measurement equipment: verification, calibration, and traceability;
• Complying with applicable quality and metrology procedures;

REQUIRED PROFILE:

With a technical background at the Bac+2/3 level in the fields of metrology, physical measurements, mechanics, production technology, or industrial quality, you have initial experience in metrology or dimensional control. You are proficient in reading mechanical drawings and have good knowledge of dimensioning and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T / ISO). Knowledge of PC-DMIS, ZEISS CALYPSO, and Metrolog X4 software would be a plus. Initial practice with a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is strongly desired, as well as good knowledge of the main instruments and measurement methods. B1 level English is required. Rigorous and precise, you demonstrate method and organization, possess good analytical skills, and know how to work both independently and in a team, while respecting procedures. You also possess good interpersonal skills and know how to report anomalies and control results.

Permanent contract (CDI) to be filled in Grasses (06), remuneration between 28 and 36 K€ per year depending on profile and experience + benefits.
