RESPONSIBILITIES:

In line with the continued development of our activity, we are looking for:

A TURBOMACHINERY DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER M/F

Interacting with the "Thermal Engine Services and Simulations" team, you will participate in turbomachinery development studies by developing their technical specifications using CFD numerical simulations. You will collaborate with surface design engineers to define and optimize fluid surfaces, as well as with engine development engineers to determine the turbomachinery operating points and the associated specifications. In this capacity, your main missions will be:

  • The development of technical specifications (fluid surfaces) for compressor and turbine stages from 3D CFD numerical simulations and other pre-dimensioning tools;
  • The development of technical specifications (fluid surfaces) for the fluid ducts upstream and downstream of the turbomachinery;
  • The definition of the turbomachinery development specifications with the engine development engineers;
  • Contributing to the analysis of engine and component tests by providing turbomachinery expertise;
  • The evolution of simulation tools by integrating the functionalities necessary for projects;
  • The improvement of simulation tools through calibration studies based on experimental data;
  • The turbomachinery pre-dimensioning required for new engine projects.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

With a higher education background at the Master's level (engineering school or university) in the field of energy, fluid mechanics, or propulsion, ideally with a specialization in CFD and turbomachinery, you have at least 5 years of experience in turbomachinery aerodynamics, ideally applied to engine development in the motorsport sector. You possess good knowledge of Star-CCM+, TURBOdesign (ADT), GT-Power, INDICOM, and CONCERTO software. You master fluid mechanics, CFD calculations, as well as the operation of an internal combustion engine and the levers used to optimize its power and efficiency. Skills in aerodynamic design of turbomachinery surfaces, engine/turbocharger integration, and test bench simulation are a real asset. B1 level English is required.

Passionate about technical challenges and innovation, you are motivated by the pursuit of performance and the world of motorization. Curious, rigorous, and solution-oriented, you enjoy working on complex issues and contributing to projects with high technological value.

Permanent contract (CDI) to be filled in Juvisy-sur-Orge (91), remuneration between 50 and 70 K€ per year depending on profile and experience + benefits.
