Process, Commissioning and Customer Support Technician M/F
What do we offer? Reporting to the Process Manager, you will work on complex equipment and pilot units dedicated to the process industry, particularly in the fields of distillation, liquid-liquid extraction, and separation operations. You will evolve in a varied technical environment, between the laboratory, workshop, and the field, in connection with process engineers, project managers, and industrial customers. Prepare, carry out, and monitor test campaigns on pilot equipment: assembly, adjustments, parameter settings, measurements, and sampling. Exploit the collected data and participate in the analysis of results with the process engineers. Participate in FAT in the workshop and perform the necessary checks and preparations before equipment shipment. Intervene at customer sites in France and internationally for commissioning, startups, and ramp-up phases. Train operators on the use of equipment and provide first-level technical assistance. Perform first-level preventive and corrective maintenance operations on equipment: mechanics, piping, and instrumentation. Diagnose malfunctions, perform troubleshooting operations within your scope, and write intervention reports. Provide feedback to contribute to the improvement of equipment and its operation.
Who are you? You have initial experience in industrial processes, equipment commissioning, maintenance, plant operation, or in a pilot laboratory. Experience gained at an equipment manufacturer, an integrator, or an industrial operator is a real asset.
You know how to read P&ID and process diagrams and have knowledge of industrial mechanics, pumps, exchangers, and instrumentation. You are also comfortable with measuring devices and are capable of diagnosing simple malfunctions.
Technically curious, rigorous, and autonomous, you enjoy both analysis and experimentation in the laboratory as much as concrete interventions in the field. Your practical sense and interpersonal skills also allow you to communicate with customers and technical teams.
Technical English is indispensable and a Category B driver's license is required. Occasional travel in France and internationally is to be expected for tests and customer commissioning.
