*Duties*

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer interactions
  • Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding hospitality and ensure adherence to food safety standards
  • Manage cash handling procedures and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Touch Bistro to ensure accurate transactions
  • Support hiring efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new staff members
  • Monitor food handling, preparation, and kitchen activities to uphold quality standards and compliance with health regulations
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Assist in training team members on restaurant procedures, food safety protocols, and hospitality best practices

*Skills*

  • Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry
  • Experience with POS systems
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
  • Ability to oversee restaurant management tasks including inventory control, employee training and quality assurance
  • Familiarity with hospitality standards gained through restaurant or hotel experience, including bartending or barista roles is a plus
  • Strong communication skills for interviewing staff, training teams, and resolving guest issues efficiently

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 ? 40.0 per week
