ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Your tasks

We are recruiting an Electrical Engineer to take part in end-to-end execution of customer projects. You will support project leads to deliver works on time and within budget, complying with local regulations and global quality & safety standards. You will collaborate with local and global teams for mono-technology and multi-discipline system integration, assist in budget control and risk identification, and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

1. Participate in full-lifecycle delivery of data center projects; support on-time & on-budget execution with compliance to quality, safety and Singapore electrical codes.

1. Coordinate with local and global cross-functional teams for electrical and multi-system integration tasks.

1. Assist in budget management, risk identification and assessment, and propose improvements to enhance project outcomes and customer satisfaction.

1. Maintain good relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other stakeholders through proactive communication.

1. Support review of electrical drawings and technical documents for generators, UPS, switchgears and energy storage systems; conduct technical clarifications with vendors.

1. Follow up on-site electrical construction progress, resolve basic on-site technical issues, and compile progress reports, variation documents and handover records.

1. Assist in streamlining execution workflows to improve operational efficiency and cost control without sacrificing quality.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power System, Mechatronics or related engineering fields.

1. 1-3 years of relevant electrical project experience in mission-critical infrastructure, data centers.

1. Hands-on experience liaising with vendors and construction subcontractors on site.

1. Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.

1. Able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

1. Basic analytical skills; able to carry out tasks and support on-site decisions in a fast-paced environment.

1. Familiar with basic project tools to track progress and generate simple reports.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master’s Degree in Engineering; holding relevant electrical professional certifications is a plus.

1. Familiar with Singapore SS electrical standards and data center codes; experienced with generator, UPS or battery storage on-site works.

1. Prior working experience in Singapore or Southeast Asia projects.

1. Able to support basic technical presentations to clients and management.

1. Awareness of process improvement, willing to adopt digital tools to boost productivity.
