Assistant Mechanic

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic assistant/assistant mechanic.

Package of tasks

• Performing inspections.
• Maintenance of machines, equipment, and the fleet of the entire De Mol Groep.
• Proactive cooperation and thinking along.
• Performing emergency repairs, where flexibility and dynamism are important.
• Assisting with corrective repairs and performing preparatory tasks for the mechanic.
• Performing ad-hoc repairs.
• Performing welding work.
• Reading and understanding technical diagrams.
• Working with hand tools, compressed air guns, lift tables, and inspection pits.
• Performing physically heavy work with attention to safety and ergonomics.
• Ensuring order, cleanliness, and the correct preparation of material and tools.
• Working under the guidance of the mechanic and receiving assignments via a screen in the workshop.
• Focus on corrective and emergency repairs.

Profile

• You possess good knowledge of electricity and mechanics.
• You are organizationally strong and think in solutions.
• You express yourself fluently in English.
• You can read technical diagrams and understand the various components.
• You wear PPE (personal protective equipment) and strictly follow safety regulations.
• Tasks are assigned to the assistant mechanics, with teamwork being central.
• Experience in maintenance of large and small machines as well as different types of vehicles (commercial vehicles/trucks)
