About the company
This place exists, and it is called Grill'Chic.
We manufacture high-end braseros and planchas in France, and 80% of our turnover is generated online. We are growing fast, we have the means of today, and in 2027 we are launching a major test: conquering Europe with independent, lightweight sites that share a hundred common products, and whose operation will be automated with our AI developer.
Your tasks
- Launch and grow our European sites. You will build the architecture, make the technical choices, and lay the foundations of a model that can be duplicated.
- Take over the French site so that it is ready for the 2027 season.
- Work in a duo with our AI developer. You bring your web and e-commerce expertise, they bring their automation methods. You learn from each other, and that is what moves the project forward.
- Gradually automate SEO, Ads, and shop operations.
- Manage the technical aspects end-to-end: WordPress and WooCommerce from front to back, performance, security, integrations with our order and stock tools, Google Ads and Merchant Center, technical SEO, and conversion tracking.
- Design and evolve site hosting: infrastructure choices, production deployments, backups, monitoring, and scaling to absorb traffic peaks during the season and campaigns.
Requirements
What if 2027 was your year? You have been developing sites for years. You have mastered your craft. And you feel that AI is changing everything, but you haven't yet found the place to truly dive in.
You are the right person if.
- You have at least five years of experience in web development and real WordPress / WooCommerce projects to show us.
- You master PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, and Git, custom themes and extensions, and API integrations.
- You know Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, conversion tracking, and technical SEO.
- You know how to diagnose an incident, secure a deployment, and clearly explain your choices.
- You know how to choose and administer hosting suitable for WordPress, automate deployments, and scale an infrastructure to handle traffic peaks.
- You are comfortable with technical English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level).
- You are autonomous, curious, and eager to try a new way of working.
- Bachelor's to Master's degree, engineering degree or equivalent experience: experienced self-taught individuals are welcome.
A plus: Cloudflare, Microsoft 365 integrations, multilingual shops, ERP or logistics tools. And as for AI, don't panic, you will learn with our dedicated developer.
