Customer service representative
Grensarbeid is looking for a Customer service representative for DSV
Would you like to work in an environment with well-known brands on the Dutch and European market? Your customer orientation will truly shine within our international working environment.
You will succeed in
Ensuring maximum customer satisfaction for the major brands within Europe: you will contribute to this.
How do you do this? As a customer service representative, you are an essential link between our warehouse and our customers, where you bear responsibility for all administrative and planning activities of our customers. This means you ensure that all information about an order is recorded correctly in our system and that the progress of the orders is closely monitored. You manage the planning for the logistics department and continuously keep the customer informed of the status of their orders.
Thanks to your commitment and care, you not only know how to manage everything effectively, but you also continuously keep both customers and internal stakeholders informed of the progress. In case of disruptions, you identify them in time and inform the customer about any delays or changes. As the primary operational contact for your assigned customers, you communicate quickly and efficiently with internal colleagues from various departments. Handling and passing on customer escalations is also among your responsibilities, so that we can always offer a solution. You will achieve this by:
- monitoring warehouse processes with our warehouse management system, whereby you always keep both customers and internal stakeholders informed;
- identifying disruptions and informing customers about any potential delays or changes;
- handling and passing on customer escalations.
Your team within DSV stands out due to the diverse group of international colleagues, where mutual collegiality is highly valued. Everyone is willing to support each other and learn from one another, which contributes to a positive and professional working atmosphere. We work hard, with collaboration and achieving common goals being central.
You bring
- experience in a customer service environment, preferably within logistics
- strong customer orientation and involvement
- knowledge of Excel, MS Office and warehouse management systems
- good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
It all counts for this vacancy of customer service representative in Maastricht Airport. Furthermore, it is of course important that you feel at home with us. That will certainly go well if you like to take initiative, have courage, and want to grow with DSV.
