NFS Kitchen Assistant #Tampines
Working hour Mon to Thurs: 7.15 am to 4.15 pm Fri: 7.15 am to 3.45 pm Key Roles Prepare materials for cookery lessons, practicals, assessments, and ALP programmes
Daily maintenance, cleaning, and sanitising of two cookery rooms, preparation room, and container cabin
Clean and tidy cookery rooms
Update teachers on perishables and dry goods for ordering
Maintain and update inventories of kitchen equipment and utensils
Filing and compile documents in cookery rooms
Assist in receiving food from vendors
Report facility issues/safety risks to FCE/NFS Coordinator
Standby during practical sessions to assist teachers
Check kitchens are locked and electricity/gas turned off after class
Any duties assigned by the school
Requirements At least 3 years' relevant working experience
Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate
Good interpersonal skills and a team player
Good food hygiene and kitchen safety awareness
