🌱 About us

Greenly was founded in 2019 by Alexis, Matthieu and Arnaud with one mission: make carbon management as essential as financial management.

Today, we are a global leader in carbon accounting, proudly B-Corp certified and part of the French Tech 120. Our climate suite combines smart data collection with intuitive automation, helping companies measure, reduce, and report their emissions with ease — supported at every step by our in-house climate experts. 💚

More than 3,500 companies in 20+ countries use Greenly to manage their climate strategy: from carbon assessments and life-cycle analyses to SBTi trajectories and compliance with CSRD and CBAM.

We are now a team of 200+ people from 40+ nationalities, based in Paris, Stockholm, London, Barcelona, and New York. 🌎

To date, we’ve tracked over 200 million tons of CO₂ through our platform. Our next milestone: 10,000 clients and one billion tons of CO2 under management.

🌱 Our Values

  • Ambition for climate: Minimize GHG emissions, maximize climate impact
  • Deliver with agility: Work in small increments: fail fast, learn fast, win fast
  • Own your opportunities: Achieve outstanding results by showing initiative and accountability
  • Feedback paves the way: Succeed as a team by helping others progress

🌱 About the team

You'll join Greenly's Climate Delivery team, a group of customer-obsessed Climate Strategy Experts dedicated to guiding clients through their most strategic climate and sustainability challenges. 🤝

We deliver high-quality climate projects - carbon assessments, lifecycle analyses (LCA), SBTi trajectories, CSRD support - and help organizations turn data and regulations into clear, actionable decisions.

As a team, we:

  • Combine analytical rigor with a strong customer success mindset
  • Act as trusted advisors, not just technical analysts
  • Thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment, sharing methods, scripts, and lessons learned
  • Work closely with Customer Support, Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure our clients succeed and our methodologies stay robust 💡

It's one of Greenly's most influential client-facing teams: high expectations, complex projects, and real impact on both client outcomes and product evolution. 🌍

🌱 About the role

As a Climate Data Analyst Intern, you will join Greenly’s Climate Delivery team for a 6-month internship. You will be part of real delivery operations from day one: not shadowing, but contributing. You’ll work hand in hand with senior Climate Strategy Experts on client projects and on internal process improvements, using our software and internal tools to calculate carbon emissions data. You will help our clients get a complete picture of their carbon footprint and make better choices to reduce their impact.

🌱 Your main tasks and responsibilities:

Your primary responsibility is to contribute to the end-to-end delivery of climate projects, and to ensure the quality of the data behind them, working closely with our Climate Strategy Experts. Day to day, you will:

  • Get involved in client projects to support project managers in delivering high-quality work: platform setup, specific analyses, benchmarks, quantification of reduction actions, and more
  • Perform data quality checks on GHG assessments and LCA projects delivered to clients
  • Help design tools and templates enabling greater client autonomy on quality checks
  • Consolidate and help update the mitigation plans on our platform
  • Take ownership of data collection, consistency checks, and analysis for a portfolio of clients
  • Ensure the quality of our data analysis: apply the right calculation methodology and make sure clients can understand the logic behind it
  • Share feedback with our Product team to improve processes and tools

🌱 What success looks like at the end of your internship:

  • You have autonomously managed quality checks and delivered reliable outputs for real client projects
  • You have led or co-led at least several result presentation meetings
  • You have contributed a concrete process improvement tool or template used by the team
  • Clients and colleagues see you as autonomous, rigorous, reliable, and proactive

🌱 Skills needed to succeed

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences, data, or a related field 🎓
  • Knowledge of GHG accounting: Curiosity about climate regulation and carbon accounting (GHG Protocol, LCA, SBTi, CSRD…), from your studies or other experience 🌎
  • Detail-oriented problem solver: You are meticulous and enjoy digging into a dataset 🧠
  • Tech skills: Solid Excel skills (mandatory); Python, SQL or BI tools are a strong plus
  • AI Proficiency: You are comfortable working with AI tools such as Claude or Gemini 💻
  • Communication: You can explain a complex methodology to a non-expert, clearly and simply 🗣️
  • Language skills: Bilingual in French and English (C1/C1), both verbal and written ✨

You may also have:

  • Prior exposure to climate frameworks or sustainability consulting 📊
  • Experience with Python/SQL/BI tools (nice to have)

You might not be a fit if:

  • You find fast-paced environments with shifting priorities overwhelming ❌

🌱 Perks & benefits

  • 💰 Salary: €1.200 per month
  • 📍 Beautiful offices in the heart of Paris (9ᵉ arrondissement)
  • ⚒️ Top-notch tools to help you do your best work
  • 🚅 50% Navigo reimbursement for public transport
  • 🥗 Sustainable lunch vouchers via Ekip
  • 🤸 Partial coverage of your Gymlib subscription
  • 🤝 A culture of autonomy, transparency, and collaboration; with a team of highly talented, committed people

Please note that this is a full-time 6-month internship based in Paris.
