Our client, an established bank in Singapore, is looking for fresh graduates / entry-level candidates to join its Corporate Banking or Private Banking Department as an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) .
This is a good opportunity for graduates who are interested in building a long-term career in Private Banking, Wealth Management or Corporate Banking and would like to gain hands-on exposure to client relationship management, banking products and credit / financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Private Banking ARM
- Support Relationship Managers in managing and servicing High Net Worth (HNW) clients.
- Assist with client onboarding, account opening, KYC and other client documentation.
- Support the preparation of client reviews, portfolio information and relationship management materials.
- Assist with investment and banking product-related activities, including funds, bonds, structured products and other wealth-management solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Credit, Compliance, Operations and Product teams to facilitate client requests and transactions.
- Liaise with the bank’s China / regional headquarters and relevant internal stakeholders where required.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Corporate Banking ARM
- Support Relationship Managers in managing corporate banking relationships and day-to-day client servicing.
- Assist with credit applications, financial analysis, credit reviews and preparation of banking proposals.
- Support client onboarding, KYC documentation and account-opening processes.
- Assist with financing, trade finance, cash management and other corporate banking products.
- Conduct basic research on clients, industries and market developments to support relationship managers.
- Coordinate with Credit, Risk, Compliance, Operations and other internal departments on client-related matters.
- Liaise with the bank’s China / regional headquarters and relevant internal stakeholders where required.
- Assist in monitoring existing client relationships, facilities and documentation.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university , preferably in Banking & Finance, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Private Banking / Wealth Management or Corporate Banking .
- Good fundamental knowledge of financial markets, banking products and financial concepts.
- Strong Chinese language proficiency is required , as the role involves regular communication and coordination with the bank’s China headquarters and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible and willing to learn.
- Able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced banking environment.
