Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the full spectrum of financial operations for the European region, including accounting, treasury, taxation, budgeting, reporting and compliance.
- Manage financial activities across multiple European entities and ensure compliance with local statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, cross-border funding and intercompany transactions to support European business operations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and other professional service providers on statutory audits, VAT, tax filings and transfer pricing matters.
- Establish and maintain internal controls, financial policies and reporting standards across multiple entities.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, and provide financial insights to support business and management decision-making.
- Support European business expansion, entity restructuring, financial system implementation and other finance-related projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification is preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant finance experience, including senior-level finance management experience.
- Hands-on experience in managing finance operations across multiple European entities or jurisdictions.
- Strong practical experience in European VAT, taxation, transfer pricing, treasury and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in multi-entity financial management, cross-border transactions and consolidated financial reporting.
- Experience in establishing or managing financial shared services, ERP implementation or finance process transformation is preferred.
- Experience working with international headquarters and managing cross-cultural stakeholders or finance teams.
- Excellent command of English; Mandarin proficiency is preferred for communication with Group headquarters and relevant stakeholders.
