Chief Operating Officer
Reporting Line: CEO Key Responsibilities Translate the Group’s business strategy into operational plans, measurable objectives, and performance targets. Provide regular operational reports and recommendations to the Group’s senior leadership and Board. Lead annual business planning, budgeting, and resource allocation in collaboration with regional management and finance teams. Monitor business performance, including revenue, profitability, operating costs, inventory, and service delivery, and implement corrective actions where required. Drive market expansion initiatives, including assessing opportunities, establishing operational capabilities, and supporting new market launches. Establish and improve operating procedures, reporting systems, internal controls, and accountability across the Group. Oversee operations, corporate structure, and compliance across group entities in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and Europe. Design and manage cross-border trade and distribution arrangements supporting the Group's regional business. Work with finance, legal, and local management teams to address operational risks and ensure compliance with applicable requirements. Develop regional leaders and cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration, performance management, and succession planning. Identify and evaluate overseas business opportunities, and lead the incubation and commercial validation of new ventures. Lead operational improvement and digitalisation initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and customer experience. Lead the Group's AI transformation, automating business, finance, and compliance processes and drive the adoption of AI-enabled workflows across product development, marketing, and e-commerce to improve productivity and support scalable business growth. Establish lean operating models for new projects, defining budgets, milestones, and performance metrics to guide investment and expansion decisions. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience. At least 10 years of relevant experience in business operations or general management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Demonstrated experience managing operations across multiple markets and leading cross-functional teams. Experience in consumer electronics, technology, distribution, or a related industry is preferred. Proven ability to manage budgets, improve profitability, and deliver measurable operational results. Strong understanding of business planning, supply chain operations, distribution channels, and operational risk management. Experience implementing process improvements and supporting business expansion. Hands-on experience leading AI-enabled process automation or digital transformation in a business context. Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic international business environment. Willingness to undertake business travel as required.
