Your tasks
Do you want to take responsibility for the control systems in an AGV project, from architecture and PLC code to commissioning on the floor? GreenGrit is looking for a senior PLC programmer for a consulting assignment in Södertälje. You will work on-site in an automated production environment where your solutions go into live operation.
This is what you will do as a PLC programmer You design and develop PLC controls based on the project requirements and own the solution all the way to a commissioned facility. The main focus during the assignment is programming and implementation in an AGV project.
Develop and maintain HMI interfaces for operators Participate in performance tests, commissioning, and startup of projects
Responsible for the machine interface (MEC) during the procurement of new machines
Work with architecture at a high level, strategic planning, and system design
Requirements
This is what GreenGrit is looking for in you as a PLC programmer At least 7 years of experience with PLC solutions
Background in electricity, automation, or equivalent Education as a mechanical engineer or within automation and robotics
Understanding of TCP/IP networks English in speech and writing, as the working language in the project is English
You thrive in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document your work thoroughly. Test plans dictate the pace, so you need to be flexible regarding overtime and occasional weekend shifts when commissioning requires it. Knowledge of vision systems is a merit, as is Swedish.
