The right applicant will have provincial certification in food safety, hygiene, and a flexible schedule.The duration of this position is 480 hours. Key responsibilities and duties: Prepping and cooking for 50+ people per mealFollowing the established menu planMaintaining a clean and well-organized kitchenOrdering food and kitchen inventoryLiaising with residents by assisting with servingCleanup in the dining room as requiredQualifications and ExperienceProof of enrollment in a Culinary ProgramWillingness to learnProvide a current satisfactory criminal record checkBenefits to your Education and ExperienceStrengthen and practice your skills alongside experienced Red Seal Chefs.Gain skills that are transferrable to other segments of the food service industry.Gain experience in the Senior Living industry.
