Professional Safety Officer (Jor Por)

• Oversee workplace safety
• Inspect and recommend that the employer complies with the law
• Analyze employee accidents
• Prepare accident reports
• Analyze project plans and measures
• Advise, coach, and train employees to gain knowledge and safety in working
• Define preventive measures or safe working procedures
• Measure and evaluate the environment
• Ensure employees comply with safety regulations
• Conduct audits according to the plan
• Evaluate work risks
• Analyze work to identify hazards
• Other duties as assigned by the employer

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (Occupational Health and Safety) or a field related to safety work (passed the Professional Safety Officer course) Have 1 year or more of experience in the field (new graduates are welcome) Can communicate in English at a fair level; if able to communicate in Chinese (will be given special consideration) Able to register as a Professional Safety Officer with the Department of Labour Have good communication and presentation skills, and good interpersonal skills Able to work at different branches and in different provinces occasionally Own a motorcycle or car, or have the ability to travel to government agencies and commute to work independently Able to start work immediately will be given special consideration
