About the Role
We are looking for a Mechanical Technician / Engineer to join our team and support the maintenance and servicing of automated machinery and equipment at customer sites.
This is a hands-on role suitable for someone who enjoys working with machines, troubleshooting mechanical issues and learning new equipment. Training will be provided , so candidates with the right attitude and basic mechanical experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing and inspection of machines and equipment at customer sites. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
- Assist with replacement of mechanical parts and components , including motors, belts, rollers, sensors and other machine parts.
- Assist engineers and senior technicians with troubleshooting and rectification of machine issues.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to established procedures.
- Support machine installation, testing, calibration and commissioning when required.
- Respond to customer site issues and provide timely technical support.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, parts replaced and service work performed.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and customer site requirements.
- Work closely with the engineering and project teams to ensure machines remain operational and reliable.
- Contract position with potential conversion to a full-time role for suitable candidates who enjoy the work and perform well.
