Senior Structural Engineer - Cairo
Gravity Engineering Consultancy is a Dubai-based structural engineering and permit consultancy and we're looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to work in our Cairo office, working on UAE projects.
What you'll do
- Design and analyze reinforced concrete and steel structures (villas, warehouses, commercial and mixed-use buildings)
- Build and check models in ETABS, SAFE and STAAD.Pro , and prepare design calculation reports
- Design and check steel connections using IDEA StatiCa
- Review structural drawings from the draftsperson and BIM modeler before they're issued
- Coordinate with the Dubai team on project requirements and deadlines
What we need
- BSc in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 4-7 years of structural design experience in a consultancy office
- Strong in ETABS, SAFE and STAAD.Pro
- Hands-on experience with steel connection design in IDEA StatiCa
- Comfortable with AutoCAD and reading Revit models
- Good written English (reports and emails go to UAE clients and authorities)
Preferred
- Experience with UAE or GCC projects, especially Dubai Municipality submissions
- Knowledge of ACI, ASCE 7, AISC or British Standards
- Experience checking other engineers' work
What we offer
- Salary: EGP 10,000 – 20,000 per month, based on experience
