Gravity Development is a real estate development company delivering residential and commercial projects across Lagos. We care about the details that separate a good finish from a forgettable one - the fittings, the joinery, the way light hits a surface - and we're looking for an Interior Designer who feels the same way about their work.

The Role

You'll lead interior design and finishing decisions across our projects, from early space planning and material selection through to walking the site with contractors to make sure what gets built actually matches what was designed.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, and material/finish schedules for residential and commercial units

• Select finishes, fittings, fixtures, and furnishings that balance quality, durability, and budget

• Work closely with architects, contractors, and site teams to ensure designs are executed accurately on site

• Inspect ongoing work and flag finishing issues early, before they become expensive to fix

• Source and manage relationships with vendors, artisans, and suppliers

• Keep projects on budget and on schedule without cutting corners on quality

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in interior design, ideally on residential or commercial development projects

• A strong portfolio showing range and genuine attention to finishing detail

• Working knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is an advantage

• Comfortable spending real time on-site, not just behind a desk

• Good judgment on materials, cost, and quality tradeoffs
