Senior Consultant - Transformation Finance & COO (M/F)

Grant Thornton's Financial Services Advisory (FSA) team is exclusively dedicated to financial services. It supports financial institutions (banks, insurance companies, asset managers) in managing their transformation projects, risk management, and performance improvement. In order to support the development of its interventions within Finance Departments, the FSA team is recruiting a Senior Consultant in Finance Function Transformation.

Your mission: You will join the Finance Transformation team as an experienced consultant.

You will be required to intervene with our clients (Banks, Asset Managers, or Insurance Companies) on the following themes: Improvement of steering

• Review of performance indicators and optimization of steering tools
• Review and optimization of reporting processes and accounting schemes
• Shortening accounting closing deadlines (fast-close)
• Implementation of management control and analytical accounting

Strengthening operational efficiency

• Development of Target Operating Models for the finance function, implementation of CSP
• Assistance in the implementation or change of finance tools and systems (GL, financial Dataware, EPM tools, and regulatory reporting, Datavisualization...)
• Support for post-merger integration of finance functions
• Management of complex projects
• MOA (Assistance à Maitrise d’ouvrage)

Transformation of the accounting and regulatory framework

• Implementation projects for new standards and regulations (regulatory reporting, and non-financial CSRD...)
• Preparation of financial, regulatory, and non-financial reporting

Your profile: Graduate with a Bac+5 from a major business school, engineering school, or university, with a specialization in management/finance.

You have a significant first experience of at least 3 years acquired within an audit/consulting firm or the finance department of a financial institution.

You are familiar with working in project mode, and know how to demonstrate capacities for analysis, structuring, and formalization of the subjects entrusted to you.

You possess good interpersonal skills that allow you to interact effectively and intelligently within a team of consultants and with client teams.

You speak English fluently and are capable of intervening in international environments.
