Procurement Officer - High Voltage Electrical Transmission

At Consultora Grafton, we are looking for a highly skilled Procurement Officer to join an important client in the energy sector for High Voltage Electrical Transmission projects. The main objective of the position is to comprehensively manage the acquisition and procurement processes of equipment, materials, and technical supplies (national and international), ensuring timely availability, technical quality, commercial competitiveness, and contractual compliance required by the project.

Functions:

• Technical Purchasing Management: Evaluate, request, and compare technical and commercial quotes for high voltage equipment, coordinating validation with engineering and the technical office.
• Negotiation and Awarding: Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery times, and warranties with national and international suppliers.
• Issuance and control of Purchase Orders.
• Supplier Development: Search for, evaluate, and maintain an updated database of reliable suppliers for the energy sector.
• Logistics and Imports: Coordinate and follow up on the dispatch, shipping, customs, and reception processes for international and national purchases.
• Control and Monitoring: Generate periodic reports, control budget/deadline deviations, and anticipate supply risks in the project.
• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Work in constant communication with the Construction, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance areas.

Requirements:

• Professional degree in Engineering or a related field (minimum duration of 8 semesters / 4 years, accredited by an institution recognized by the State of Chile).
• At least 3 years of experience leading/managing procurement and supply in high voltage electrical transmission works.
• Knowledge in the supply and import of equipment, materials, and technical specifications for high voltage electrical infrastructure. (mandatory)
• Verifiable experience in import management, freight, and foreign trade with foreign suppliers.
• English proficiency (Intermediate/Advanced)
• Oriented towards negotiation and documentary management with international suppliers.

Salary: 2,500,000 líquidos

Experience in energy and electrical transmission projects, as well as English proficiency for interaction with international suppliers, will be highly valued.
