Buying Professional for Las Condes

At Grafton Latam, we are looking for a Buying Professional to join an important client located in Las Condes.

The objective of the position is to ensure that the supply chain is efficient and effective, and that it supports the production and financial objectives of the company.

Functions:

Planning and strategy:

• Develop and implement the SCM strategy for the company and Identify and evaluate risks in the supply chain.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and Perform market analysis to identify improvement opportunities.

Supplier management:

• Select and manage suppliers of materials and products, as well as negotiate and monitor contracts with suppliers.
• Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers.

Technology:

• Implement and manage SCM systems and use technology to improve supply chain efficiency.

Communication and collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company's objectives.

Budget and financial management:

• Develop and manage the SCM budget across different businesses, monitor supply chain costs.
• Implement measures to reduce costs.

Requirements:

• Degree in Ingeniería Civil Industrial, Ingeniería Industrial, Comercial, Administración and/or related career.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing purchasing teams.
• Experience in the mining industry (desirable).
• Certification in SCM principles and practices.
• Intermediate/advanced English (conversational).

Conditions:

• Working day: Art. 22 (hybrid modality)
• Hiring through Grafton Latam via temporary services.
• Salary according to the market.
