DEFINITION OF TASKS:

You will support the Intellectual Property / Patent team in the daily management of client files and smooth administrative functioning, working in a pair with another assistant.

On your side, you will assist a patent partner and will have a versatile and comprehensive role in procedure management and classic assistance. You will be their right hand.

Main missions

  • Provide classic assistance: manage calendars, organize meetings, plan travel, and process expense reports.
  • Participate in all stages of client file management: from opening to closing, respecting internal procedures and liaising with different departments (conflict check, engagement letters, etc.)
  • Produce documents (drafting, proofreading, markups, advanced formatting, version consolidation) using Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Prepare pleading files.
  • Monitor procedural calendars and legal deadlines.
  • Manage RPVA and e-barreau.
  • Organize the filing and archiving of documents, in both paper and electronic formats.
  • Liaise with the billing teams (approximately 15% of the position)

Profile sought

  • Minimum Bac+2 education (BTS Assistant de direction / Secrétariat or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in a law firm within a litigation or intellectual property department.
  • Very good mastery of the Office pack, especially Word and Excel.
  • Mastery of litigation procedures, RPVA, and e-barreau.
  • Very good level of English, both spoken and written.
