Supply Chain Coordinator - Consignment

We are now looking for a structured and solution-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator who wants to take full responsibility for our consignment flows and contribute to high delivery precision and satisfied customers.

About the role

As a Supply Chain Coordinator within Consignment, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and developing the company's consignment stock in close cooperation with customers, suppliers, and internal functions. You will become an important link between purchasing, warehouse, production, and the customer, and serve as the main contact for consignment-related issues. The role is varied and combines operational work with analysis, follow-up, and improvement work.

You will have many contact surfaces and therefore need to thrive in a coordinating role where structure, communication, and the ability to drive issues forward are crucial.

Your main tasks

• Responsible for the purchase and administration of customer-owned material.
• Handle requests for quotations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-up.
• Coordinate customer orders, order confirmations, and invoicing.
• Be the primary contact person for the customer within the consignment area and ensure a proactive and professional dialogue.
• Ensure that material receipt, quality controls, and warehouse management follow customer requirements and internal processes.
• Responsible for agreements, reporting, invoicing, and financial follow-up related to consignment stock.
• Follow up on stock levels, material shortages, and open purchase orders.
• Identify and manage risks and deviations, as well as ensure actions to maintain high service levels and delivery precision.
• Ensure correct documentation, reporting, and compliance with the company's processes and quality requirements.
• Participate in inventories, stock reconciliations, and investigations of historical transactions and purchases.
• Initiate and drive improvement activities within the consignment processes to increase efficiency, quality, and service levels.

Competence and experience

We are looking for you who has experience from supply chain, material planning, purchasing, or logistics, preferably from a manufacturing business. You have a good understanding of how material flows, stock, and deliveries are interconnected and enjoy coordinating several parallel activities.

Furthermore, you have the ability to establish, develop, and follow processes with high accuracy. You are communicative and find it easy to create and develop good relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. Finally, it is important that you have the ability to work independently, are structured, and have the ability to prioritize and drive issues from start to finish.

You express yourself fluently in English, both orally and in writing. Experience with consignment stock is meritorious but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have an understanding of supply chain and a strong drive to create structure, solve problems, and develop working methods.
