Team Leader Purchasing

(Specialist / Business Administrator Purchasing / Technical Buyer / Specialist Logistics and Purchasing or similar) (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Leadership, management, and further development of the purchasing team
• Responsibility for the entire procurement process as well as for the design of supply and framework agreements
• Active cooperation and supplier management in the day-to-day business of operational and strategic purchasing
• Further development of the purchasing and supplier strategy as well as internal and external process workflows in coordination with management
• Continuous improvement of purchasing-related ERP processes and master data maintenance
• Independent price and contract negotiations in national and international environments
• Supplier selection/evaluation and supplier qualification in the regulated environment of medical technology
• Search for alternative procurement markets and suppliers
• Creation of purchasing statistics and key performance indicators
• Main contact person during internal and external audits

Your profile:

• Completed technical or business administration degree or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position in the manufacturing industry is an advantage
• Very good business and technical understanding
• Experience in the procurement of plastics, metal parts, and mechanical components is desirable
• Strong negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Affinity for processes, Excel, and numbers
• Proficient use of MS-Office
• Very good SAP/ERP knowledge is required
• Good written and spoken English skills
