Reservoir Engineer

To provide high level reservoir engineering support for the optimal development & management of Oil and Gas assets from exploration/development drilling to wells/facilities abandonment.

Key opportunities:

·               Deliver integrated subsurface evaluations supporting Asset Development Planning (ADP) and structured stage-gate project maturation (e.g., Concept Select, Pre-FEED, FEED).

·               Lead Reservoir Engineering input into capital project decisions, ensuring alignment with production targets, recovery optimisation, and lifecycle value.

·               Apply discipline workflows, reservoir surveillance, and modelling standards to improve technical

·               robustness.

·               Drive value optimisation through well placement, depletion strategies, and uncertainty management.

·               Champion digital transformation (AI/ML, analytics) to enhance forecasting, reserves maturation,

·               and surveillance efficiency.

·               Build organisational capability through technical mentoring and knowledge transfer, consistent with talent development focus.

Requirements & Experience:

·               BSc in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline. M.SC in Petroleum Engineering will be an added advantage.

·               Minimum of 7 years direct work experience in applied oil and gas reservoir engineering in local or international environment with demonstrated expertise in field development planning and well production optimisation in Oil and Gas fields

·               Cognate experience in Production & Reserves Forecasting / Well Test Analysis & Interpretation / Reservoir Modeling & Simulation / Economic Evaluations & Risk Analysis / Reserves Booking & Reporting.

·               Experience with Niger Delta conventional plays would be an added advantage
