Drilling Engineer

This role offers an opportunity for planning, designing, and managing the drilling of wells for safe and efficient petroleum operations.

Key opportunities:

·               Designing and planning drilling operations, including well trajectory, depth, and equipment selection.

·               Develop appropriate Well AFE (Onshore/Offshore)

·               Supervising drilling crews and managing day-to-day operations on land or offshore rigs

·               Monitoring drilling progress, analysing data, and making adjustments to address unexpected challenges such as equipment failures or geological changes.

·               Managing budgets, costs, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.

·               Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards by delivering safe and cost-effective wells while minimizing NPT (Non-Productive Time) and ensuring optimal HSE.

             Requirements & Experience:

·               BSc or MSc in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Drilling Engineering.

·               6+years of cognate drilling engineering experience in a reputable exploration/production company, preferably IOC.

·               Proficiency in Landmark (Compass, WellPlan, CasingSeat) or Schlumberger Drilling Office.

·               IWCF Level 3 or 4 Well Control certification

·               Experience with HPHT, extended reach, or deepwater drilling is a strong plus.

·               JV Partnership and PSC operations experience will be an added advantage
