Commercial Business Analyst

Functions:

• Assess the store's operational functions, objectives and requirements to identify where analysis and advice are needed; identify problems in operational procedures, methods and commercial performance; determine and apply appropriate data-collection and research methods, analyse and interpret information gathered; formulate recommendations and solutions on issues such as future trends and improved efficiency, based on research findings; advise management on findings and recommendations arising from analysis; liaise with senior staff on the range of goods or services to be sold, contributing to sales strategy and targets; compile and analyse sales figures and undertake market research to support marketing and promotional planning; produce reports and recommendations on marketing and sales strategy for senior management; keep up to date with products, market trends and competitors; recruit and train junior staff supporting analytical and commercial activities.

Requirements:

• Relevant third-level degree or equivalent qualification in business, analytics, economics or a related discipline.
• 3+ years relevant/managerial experience.
