Event Waste Employee - RAI

As an event waste employee, you are an important link in the logistical process of waste processing on the exhibition floor.

What will you do? Working under the direction of the floormanager, you ensure that everything in and around the depot runs smoothly and safely. Thanks to your efforts, the exhibition floor remains clean and organized, and waste streams can be processed correctly. Your tasks include: All occurring operational activities within and around the waste depot.

Transporting and emptying containers at fixed points and during exhibitions.

Driving agreed fixed waste routes, so that waste is collected in a timely and efficient manner.

Separating waste streams according to the correct acceptance requirements.

Sorting out hard cups and cups.

Reporting full press and collection containers, and reporting damages or malfunctions to the floormanager.

Providing instructions to new employees and temporary workers so that they are properly onboarded.

Ensuring a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.

Acting as a general point of contact on the exhibition floor for stand builders and stand holders.

You work both indoors and outdoors and have a lot of variety in your day: from driving the electric vehicle to activities in the depot and contact with colleagues.

What do we ask of you? We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable colleague who: Knows how to roll up their sleeves and dares to take responsibility.

Works accurately and finds it important that waste is processed in the correct manner.

Is willing to work irregular hours (daytime, evenings, and weekends depending on the exhibition schedule).

Works safely according to the applicable protocols.

Experience in a similar position is nice, but not a requirement.

Can communicate well orally, also in English.

Allowances of 130% and 150% for weekend and evening shifts.

A flexible work week of 24 to 40 hours, depending on your availability.

Travel allowance: €0,23 per kilometer from 10 km.

Training opportunities, such as obtaining a driving license C/CE.

Growth opportunities towards, among others, floormanager or project leader.
