Floormanager - RAI Amsterdam

What will you do? As a floormanager, you are responsible for the daily operational execution of waste processing on the exhibition floor. You report to the project leader and are the primary point of contact for the event management of the RAI. You ensure everything runs as planned and adjust where necessary — always with the goal of guaranteeing a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. Your responsibilities consist of:

Point of contact on the floor; you are in close contact with event managers, project managers, and your team.

Leading depot employees and mc’ers, ensuring a clear division of tasks and direction.

Ensuring administrative processes, such as registrations, reports, and digital recording.

Coordinating raw materials, logistics, and depot management, so that all waste streams are processed correctly.

Collaborating in and monitoring all operational activities on the floor.

You move continuously across the exhibition floor, maintain an overview, jump in where necessary, and switch between employees, event management, and your project leader. What do we ask of you? We are looking for an energetic and responsible team leader who: Has experience with operational management, preferably in events, logistics, or waste processing.

Maintains an overview, sets priorities, and can switch quickly.

Is strong in communication and brings different parties together.

Works with administrative precision.

Holds safety and quality in high regard.

Is willing to work varying hours, depending on the trade fair agenda.

Can also make themselves understood in English.

130% and 150% allowance for weekend and evening shifts.

A work week of 24 to 40 hours, depending on your availability.

Travel allowance: €0,23 per kilometer from 10 km.
