As part of this commitment, we are accelerating digital transformation across educational platforms, processes, and experiences.

As a Lead Engineering Manager (Salesforce), you will lead the engineering of Salesforce Education Cloud platforms that support critical school and educator workflows in the education domain — balancing technical excellence, team leadership, and delivery at national scale. You will provide engineering and people leadership for MOE’s Salesforce capabilities, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and sustainable — and that they meaningfully support educators in their daily work.

Translate complex business and user needs into scalable, maintainable technical designs

Ensure solutions are production-ready, secure, and resilient

Technical Quality, Risk & Governance

Make and review critical technical decisions, balancing delivery speed with long-term sustainability

Review architecture and code to ensure alignment with Salesforce and organisational best practices

Identify and mitigate technical risks, including performance, security, and integration concerns

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Agile Delivery

Partner closely with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders

Plan and deliver work iteratively using Agile methodologies

Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Platform Optimisation & Continuous Improvement

Drive continuous improvement in Salesforce platform performance and reliability

Stay current with Salesforce capabilities and recommend improvements where relevant

Improve engineering processes, tooling, and ways of working over time
