Major duties

• Informs Facility Craft Supervisor and Electrician Leader(s) of job priorities, daily personnel assignments, equipment assignments, and daily division goals.
• Enforces the Division's Standard Operating Procedures and takes all necessary actions to meet division goals.
• Meets daily with Forepersons and Facility Craft Supervisors of preceding and following shifts to discuss what jobs have been completed, need to be completed, personnel concerns, equipment concerns, supplies needed, and product testing and results.
• Monitors the operation of the section by ensuring that jobs are being completed by priority and specify the standard of quality and quantity to be met.
• Requests the ordering of supplies and equipment maintenance schedule.

To qualify for the position, you must meet the following requirements: Applicants must have experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to independently perform the duties typically required of a Foreperson To qualify for the Foreperson, you must meet the following requirements: Applicants must meet the following SCREENOUT Job Element #73: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE as a Foreperson. . Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element, which usually appears as question 1 in the online questionnaire. If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT ELEMENT below is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration. Applicants must have experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to independently perform the duties typically required of a Foreperson Supervisor. These duties include: 1: managing and overseeing daily work thru craft supervisors and electrician leadership involving the design and modification to production equipment; 2: managing the operation and installation of a variety of complete electrical systems and equipment and 3: monitoring the operation of an organization ensuring that jobs have been completed by priority and met standards of quality and quantity. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement to be considered.
