Assistant Surveyor At Gopdc Ltd (kwae, Near Kade – Eastern Region)

An Agro - Processing Company is seeking a qualified individual to fill the vacancy as:- Assistant Surveyor

Job Summary

• Assist the Surveyor in all survey works regarding cadastral, valuation assessment, roads opening, pegging, demarcation, naming of plantation plots and other survey related issues
• Assist the Surveyor in the GPS Survey of out grower farms and manage the GIS created for such surveys
• Assist the Surveyor in creating maps for the plantation
• Assist the Surveyor in soil classification mapping at the plantation
• Submit monthly reports on all survey related activities to the surveyor

Qualification Required & Experience

BSc. in Geometric Engineering with at least one year practical experience in Land Surveying.

Others

• Conversant with usage of analogue and digital surveying instruments (theodolite, total station, levelling instrument and GPS) and knowledge in GPS processing
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, ArcView 3.X series and ArcGIS 9.x and ArcGIS 10.x series
• Must have a keen eye for detail.
• Good knowledge of use of computer
• Good knowledge of oral and written English
• Ability to supervise and work with teams
• Must be safety conscious
