Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
• Must have good backing up skills.
• 2 years Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record is essential.
• Mountain driving experience required
• 4 weeks notice required if any specific day off needed during your schedule

Licence/Certification

• Class 1 Licence (required)

What we offer

$0.68/ MILE $25 paid everyday for each on time pick up ( We need you to be at pick up 40 minutes before your departure time)

$100 monthly for NO SICK CALL Safety bonus paid after 3 months if no violation, or damage to any equipment

Pay: $5,000.00-$6,000.00 per month

Description

• Thursday to Sunday
• 4 days a week schedule
• Pick up loaded trailer on Thursday early morning around 1-4AM from Langley and go to Kelowna or Okanagan valley and come home same day
• Friday same pick up but go to Kamloops and Valemount and come home next morning
• Sunday same pick up and go to Kelowna or Okanagan Valley and come home same day
• Multiple deliveries
• Truck yard in Surrey
• Around 6500-7300 miles a month
