Pharmacy Retail Associate

Your tasks

• Ensure the store opens on time and all computer systems are operational and ready for use.
• Monitor customer queues and take proactive measures to reduce waiting times.
• Prepare and maintain cash float and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Promote products, weekly specials, and support sales enhancement initiatives.
• Operate cash registers and process retail transactions efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping standards within retail and storage areas.
• Safeguard store assets, inventory, premises, and confidential information.
• Maintain proper records and ensure equipment is appropriately maintained.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as required.
• Ensure inventory is stored under appropriate conditions and remains in saleable condition.
• Process goods receipts, inter-branch transfers, and inventory discrepancies.
• Support stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
• Maintain accurate daily sales records.
• Perform data entry and inventory updates in SAP.
• Organize, compile, and maintain retail documentation and records.
• Assist in preparing monthly reports for operational analysis and verification.
• Support the onboarding and orientation of new staff on retail and pharmacy processes.
• Assist in conducting briefings for promoters and support staff.
• Participate in workplace improvement initiatives and operational projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Requirements

• GCE N-Level or GCE O-Level qualification.
• Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to perform data entry accurately.
• Experience in retail, healthcare, pharmacy, or inventory management environments is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with SAP or inventory management systems is an added advantage.
