Supervisor (M&E)
Job Description
- Supervise and lead a team of technicians in performing daily routine checks of M&E equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all preventive and corrective (breakdown) maintenance activities for M&E systems.
- Ensure proper control, safekeeping, and accountability of tools, equipment, and materials, enforce high standards of housekeeping.
- Enforce compliance with workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, conduct regular safety briefings and inspections.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and decision-making on complex maintenance issues.
- Monitor work progress, allocate manpower effectively, and ensure maintenance tasks are completed within timelines and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation for audit and performance tracking purposes.
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of maintenance works.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and system reliability enhancements.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum NITEC/ SEC/ Coretrade (or equivalent) in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering with 5 years related experience
- Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to perform shift work when required.
- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
