Corporate Treasury Operations, Asia CT Middle Office, Executive Director, Singapore
ABOUT OUR ROLES
Corporate Treasury manages the firm’s financial resources and minimizes interest expense through liability planning, asset-liability management and liquidity portfolio yield enhancement. The division is well suited to individuals with strong analytical skills who thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and collaborate effectively across the firm. Within Corporate Treasury, the Funding and Execution Trading Desk manages liabilities supporting the firm’s assets, including the issuance of secured and unsecured funding and the execution of interest-rate, currency and other hedging strategies. The desk also manages the firm’s excess liquidity portfolio, aligning cash and collateral efficiently and implementing portfolio yield-enhancement strategies.
The Treasury trading product suite includes structured repos, collateral upgrades, swaps, unsecured and secured loans, bond borrows and notes, together with other complex products designed to optimize firm funding across a range of constraints and objectives. The CT Middle Office partners with Trading, Liquidity Management, Structuring, Operations and control functions to coordinate front-to-back lifecycle management for transactions executed by the Funding and Execution Trading Desk. The Asia team’s scope will include support for Asia CT trading activity, including trade capture, validation and enrichment; internal matching and settlement-system handoff; settlement monitoring; cash and position reconciliation; exception management; and lifecycle events such as rate fixings, rolls, amendments and maturities. The Executive Director will establish and lead the Asia CT Middle Office team in Singapore, transition relevant Asia trade support and pre-issuance workflows for global debt into the team, and implement a scalable operating model with clear handoffs, robust controls and effective regional and global coverage.
