Your tasks
The Flight Operations Support department is the operational hub of the Athens station. It receives all information regarding flights operating at the airport and, based on this, collaborates with all company departments with the goal of on-time flight departures. Agents use multiple systems that automate many processes, serving personnel organization, communication with authorities, and the immediate and correct updating of all stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the Flight Operations Support Agent ✈️Ensures the implementation of SMS, IMS, and Safety procedures on a daily basis within the framework of performing their duties
✈️Takes all necessary security measures regarding the sending and receiving of signals
✈️Communicates with Local Authorities whenever deemed necessary ✈️Informs all involved parties regarding aircraft movements and any activity affecting operational work
✈️Monitors the flight plan status according to the instructions and data provided by the airline
✈️Ensures proper handling and submission of reports and documentation according to current standards whenever irregularities arise
✈️Immediately informs whenever receiving information that could require an emergency response and communicates immediately with the Emergency Management Manager in order to activate the Emergency Response Plan if required
✈️Manages any other duties assigned within the framework of the department's operations
✈️Remains always updated on all procedures, regulations, and laws as they apply and are updated
Requirements
✈️High School Diploma ✈️English language proficiency at B2 level (First Certificate in English or equivalent)
✈️Category B Driver's License ✈️Desirable previous experience in a similar position or in the customer service sector
