Responsibilities and assignments

The challenges awaiting you at your next destination are:

• Analyze historical maintenance and operation data, identifying root causes of failures and proposing corrective and preventive actions;
• Monitor engine performance and health parameters, performing trend and reliability analyses;
• Prepare Disposições Técnicas de Engenharia (DTE) and Engineering Orders (EO);
• Support projects and develop business cases to support decision-making;
• Evaluate and implement Diretrizes de Aeronavegabilidade (DAs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other regulatory requirements, considering operational and commercial impacts;
• Investigate recurring failures and low reliability of components and LRUs related to engines, proposing improvement actions;
• Provide technical support to Maintenance and MOCC teams, including AOG event assistance, troubleshooting, and technical guidance;
• Develop analytical solutions to support decision-making, using indicators and operational data;
• Act together with manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers in handling issues related to the repairability, reliability, and maintainability of engines;
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with Quality, Engineering, SMS, and Maintenance areas;
• Identify, report, and contribute to the treatment of hazards and risks related to operations.

Requirements and qualifications

These cannot be missing from your background:

• Completed Higher Education in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields;
• Active CREA registration;
• Advanced English for reading, writing, and conversation;
• Knowledge of Pacote Office;
• Experience in Maintenance Engineering;
• Experience or knowledge in Project Management.

It will be a differentiator if you have:

• Intermediate Spanish;
• Experience with Airbus A330 aircraft;
• Experience with Rolls-Royce engines.
