Responsibilities and duties
The challenges awaiting you at your next destination are:
- Act in the certification processes of the Maintenance Directorate, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and aeronautical authorities;
- Monitor internal, client, and regulatory body audits, supporting the implementation and monitoring of corrective actions;
- Conduct and support processes for obtaining and maintaining aeronautical certifications;
- Perform compliance assessments in hangars, workshops, and maintenance processes, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation;
- Prepare and review manuals, normative documents, and procedures related to the area's certifications;
- Investigate occurrences and events related to quality and operational safety, proposing improvement and risk mitigation actions;
- Act in the qualification, evaluation, and monitoring of national and international suppliers, ensuring compliance with aeronautical legislation, regulatory requirements, quality standards, certifications, and internal processes;
- Promote initiatives focused on quality, regulatory compliance, and operational safety alongside partner areas;
- Act as a technical reference for Quality, Certifications, and Aeronautical Regulation topics, supporting decision-making and the evolution of the area's processes;
- Serve as a focal point for maintenance cells, promoting alignment between areas, technical direction, and dissemination of best practices;
- Support the technical and professional development of employees with less seniority, sharing knowledge and contributing to the formation of new talents;
- Conduct complex technical discussions, exercising critical thinking in risk analysis, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement;
- Work closely with technical maintenance teams, hangars, and workshops, strengthening the culture of quality, operational safety, and compliance;
- Identify, evaluate, and report operational hazards and risks, contributing to the strengthening of the safety culture;
- Monitor performance indicators and Operational Safety objectives, supporting continuous process improvement.
Requirements and qualifications
Must be in your baggage:
- Completed Higher Education;
- Experience in Quality, Certifications, and Regulatory Compliance;
- Experience in aeronautical maintenance;
- Advanced knowledge of aeronautical legislation;
- Experience with audits and certification processes;
- Knowledge of Operational Safety;
- Advanced English.
It will be a differentiator if you have:
- Intermediate Spanish;
- Intermediate Office Package;
- Experience with aeronautical certifications and quality management;
- Experience interfacing with aeronautical authorities, clients, and suppliers.
