Senior Full Stack Developer

About Trustii Trustii is a major player in automated background check services and intelligent human risk management solutions. Its flagship platform, Horizon, redefines human risk management by enabling organizations to identify, prevent, and manage risks proactively and continuously, well beyond the hiring stage. Horizon centralizes employee data, applies organization-specific rules, and automatically alerts managers in case of non-compliance, thanks to custom risk profiles for each position. Trustii supports HR, risk management, and compliance teams, as well as Canadian leaders in several sectors, including property management.

Your Role As a Senior Developer, you will play a central role in the evolution of our flagship platform, Horizon. Having reached a great level of maturity with clients in production, our goal is now to integrate major new features and prepare the platform for very large-scale clients. Within an agile team composed of a Product Manager (PM), a UX/UI designer, and four other developers, you will have a direct impact on architecture and development. You will have the necessary autonomy to analyze complex needs and propose your own solutions without constant supervision.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust new features from A to Z (architecture, backend, frontend) for the Horizon platform.
• Actively participate in software architecture and technical decisions, with a strong emphasis on the backend (.NET) and cloud infrastructure (Azure).
• Ensure integration with other systems and prepare the platform for scaling for our large-scale clients.
• Take charge of code quality by performing rigorous testing and constructive code reviews for the team.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and the UX/UI Designer to translate business objectives into high-performance technical solutions.

Profile Sought

• Approximately 8 to 9 years or more of experience in software development, demonstrating great autonomy.
• "Full Stack" profile with a specialization and strong interest in backend infrastructure and architecture.
• Excellent mastery of React to be quickly operational on our frontend.
• Comfort and previous experience with the .NET environment and the Azure platform.
• Strong analytical capacity and entrepreneurial spirit: past experience within SMEs or startups (where you had to touch several facets of a product) is a major asset.
• Excellent communication skills in English (the primary working language of the pan-Canadian team), both oral and written.
• Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
