Project Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Product Development & Business Executive to support growth in our Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) business by driving product development, market expansion, customer engagement, and business initiatives within aerospace and aviation.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of UAS products and solutions to meet market and customer needs
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer requirements
• Translate operational and customer requirements into actionable product features and capabilities
• Evaluate new technologies, payloads, sensors, and aviation solutions for product integration
• Support product demonstrations, technical evaluations, and validation activities to ensure performance standards
• Engage with customers to support business discussions, product presentations, and relationship management
• Assist in developing proposals, business cases, capability statements, and presentation materials for business growth
• Conduct market studies to identify potential local and international business opportunities
• Support participation in trade shows, exhibitions, customer demonstrations, and industry events to promote products
• Coordinate project activities across engineering, operations, and business teams to ensure timely delivery
• Track project milestones, action items, and deliverables to maintain project progress and accountability
• Prepare management reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates for stakeholders
• Support planning and execution of product trials, demonstrations, and operational deployments
• Assist flight trials, mission planning, and operational demonstrations to validate UAS capabilities
• Evaluate UAS operational concepts, payload integration, and system performance for continuous improvement
• Monitor developments in aviation regulations, UAS policies, and industry standards to ensure compliance
• Research emerging aviation technologies, autonomous systems, logistics applications, and sustainable aviation solutions
• Support strategic analysis of industry trends, market developments, and competitor offerings to inform business strategy
• Contribute to establishing new business processes, workflows, and operating concepts within a growing division

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or related discipline
• Fresh graduates with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply
• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in aerospace, aviation, engineering, logistics, technology, or related industries
• Experience in project work, internships, research, operations, or customer-facing roles is advantageous
• Fundamental understanding of aerospace, aviation, or unmanned systems
• Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with CAD tools, engineering software, or technical documentation is advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to technical and business challenges
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for research, presentations, and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to conduct independent research and analysis to support product and business development
• Interest in product strategy, market development, and business growth
• Self-driven with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable operating within a start-up or pioneer environment with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Curious, adaptable, and willing to learn across multiple disciplines
• Willingness to support international business activities and travel when required
