Opto System Engineer (Semiconductor OEM)

Responsibilities:

• The role will involve working within a multidisciplinary team who carry out system performance test, evaluation and customer qualification.
• Assist in vision component selection.
• Design of electrical parts and sub-modules for vision inspection equipment.
• Evaluating and establishing vision system performance specifications.
• Maintain design documentation, drawings and BOM.
• Planning/Coordination of releasing new designs to manufacturing.
• Provide troubleshooting expertise and training.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in engineering discipline.
• Min 2-3 years of experience in vision inspection / optics manufacturing engineering.
• Familiar with CAD software for electrical and schematic design.
• Familiar with PCB/PCBA design/fabricate process.
• Familiar with PC hardware, Windows OS and software.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronics/PC hardware system.
• Analytical with good troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently and a strong team player.
• Knowledge in Inspection system is beneficial.
