Cybersecurity Consultant
Design and implement cybersecurity solutions based on Secure by Design principles. Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, security reviews, audits, and testing. Review security architectures and designs to ensure alignment with security standards, policies, and best practices. Identify cybersecurity risks and recommend appropriate mitigation and remediation measures. Evaluate security products and conduct Proof of Concept (POC) to validate security effectiveness. Provide cybersecurity guidance and consultancy to internal teams, customers, vendors, and partners. Prepare technical proposals, reports, and presentations, and communicate security solutions to stakeholders. Coordinate with project teams to deliver project milestones and security-related deliverables. Keep up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity consulting, security governance, architecture, or design.
- Professional certification such as CISSP or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise security solutions such as Endpoint Security, IAM, Network Security, Security Analytics, DLP, Vulnerability Management, and Compliance.
- Good understanding of network, server, and enterprise infrastructure security.
- Familiarity with IT project lifecycle, security standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within tight deadlines.
