Our client is an established Japanese manufacturing MNC looking for a hands-on IoT Engineer to join their Digital Transformation team in Singapore. In this role, you will design, deploy, and maintain IoT and edge computing solutions in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement IoT systems, hardware selection, and edge computing solutions.
  • Implement and optimize microcontrollers (ESP32), sensors, and Raspberry Pi devices for hardware-software connectivity.
  • Develop data pipelines for processing and secure transmission between IoT devices and downstream systems using Python.
  • Manage, troubleshoot, and validate connected systems to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Conduct electronics prototyping, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Gather user requirements and collaborate with software and maintenance teams to deploy scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • Singaporeans and Singapore PRs only.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering (fresh degree holders welcome) or experienced Diploma holders.
  • Proficient in Python programming and Linux environments.
  • Hands-on experience with single-board computers (Raspberry Pi), microcontrollers (ESP32/Arduino), and communication protocols (MQTT, TCP/IP, RS232/RS422).
  • Knowledge of electronics prototyping, circuit connections, and reading datasheets.
  • Willingness to work in cleanroom environments.
