About the company
Pacific Dental offers one-stop dental care from general dentistry to specialist treatment such as root-canal; implant, oral and maxillofascial in a cozy and exclusive environment with the state-of-the-art technology. Our emphasis for patient care is Comfort, Hygienic and Passion.
Your tasks
- Assists the dentist during the dental treatment;
- Take X-ray and other digital images of patients as required by performing dentists;
- Maintains and ensures cleanliness of entire clinic and all dental equipment;
- Ensures high standard of infection control;
- Maintain dental supplies and ordering when the supplies are low in stock;
- Performs front-desk duties e.g. check-in & check-out of patients plus cashiering using Clinic Assist;
- Handles telephone inquiry and bookings for the patients' appointments;
- Follow-up with patients pertaining to treatments and appointments reminder plus recall duties;
- Performs any other duties that may be assigned to him/her.
Requirements
- Minimum ‘N’/ ‘O’ Levels or equivalent
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills
- Those who can communicate with patients in other languages beside English such as Mandarin, would be added advantage;
- Experience in similar position would certainly an advantage;
- However, candidates who has no previous experience but willing and keen to have a fresh start, Pacific Dental welcomes them and will provide the necessary on-the-job training and career guidance.
- Primary/Secondary School/O Level, Higher Secondary/'A' Level, Professional Certificate/NiTEC
What we offer
- $ 2,500 onward per monthsubject years of experience as Dental Surgery Assistant

Remuneration and Benefits
- Remuneration will based on experience;
- Annual Bonus and bonus based on Performance;
- Periodic increment will based on experience, punctuality, working attitude, healthy working relationship with team members, aspiration to excel in given duties and others;
- Deserving candidates will be sponsored to attend a 12 month part-time (commencing in March year) Certificate Course in Dental Assisting including time off to attend the course;
- Work Injury Compensation benefits for confirmed and deserving employees will be offered.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and
- Saturday from 9am to 2pm.
- No night shifts.
