We are responsible for a gigantic infrastructure that serves Globo's main video products, such as Globoplay, Premiere, and the Globo Channels. Additionally, we are responsible for the live transmission of major events - from state football championships, the World Cup, Olympics, Rock in Rio, and even the live cameras of Big Brother Brasil, which is available 24x7 for all Globoplay subscribers.

Strategic challenges:

The media and entertainment market lives in constant transformation, with varied forms, behaviors, platforms, and monetization of content consumption. Multiple companies from different segments compete for the attention and the pockets of consumers and advertisers. This constant transformation comes much from the evolution of technology in the world itself.

In this scenario, Globo has been seeking different audience segments, new products, new distribution strategies, new ways of operating, and new business models.

To support so much transformation, we need to understand industry movements, the client market, our business strategy, technology trends, our levers, and our gaps.

Designing new technology capabilities, transforming some, and seeking innovation and partnerships is absolutely necessary.

Architecture's role:

Globo's Technology Architecture seeks professionals who can work at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and execution.

The area's mission is to design and propose strategies, architectures, and technological evolution roadmaps for various business domains and the company's technology foundations.

It does this with an approach focused on the company's main transformational challenges, at strategic and tactical levels, and in a very collaborative manner with other technology and business areas.

The area is structured into the roles of corporate architecture, solutions architecture, and data & AI architecture.

Bring your experience in industry benchmarks, capability maps, reference architectures, gap and buy or build analyses, and the construction of future visions and technology roadmaps.

Data & AI Architecture Position:

This position will help evolve Globo's foundational data & AI architecture, which enables analytics, machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI workloads.

Responsibilities and assignments

How your day-to-day will be:

Design the evolution of the data and analytics platform architecture; Design the evolution of the AI platform architecture (ML, GenAI, Agentic AI); Design the evolution of the data & AI governance architecture; Map and continuously evaluate the technology vendor landscape; Track data & AI trends and transform them into opportunities for architectural evolution; Conduct technology assessments and benchmarks; Build and evolve capability frameworks and reference architectures.

Point of attention:

• The immediate results of the work in this position are decisions that will influence the execution pipeline. Therefore, unlike a software delivery or operations area, the changes are felt in the medium and long term.

Requirements and qualifications

What you need:

Intermediate English; Higher education or postgraduate degree in technology, data, or AI; Previous professional experience with data & AI.

Knowledge that sets you apart:

Previous experience in architecture; Knowledge of the Google data & AI stack; Ability to understand and communicate complex challenges clearly, structuring messages objectively and adapted to different audiences.
