Role Description The HR Trainee – HR Admin and Consulting role is a hybrid, full-time position. The trainee will support day-to-day HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, preparing HR documentation, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities. The role includes assisting with HR policy implementation, arranging interviews and training sessions and providing general support to HR consultants on client engagements. The trainee will help gather and analyse HR data, prepare reports and presentations and participate in internal meetings and client-facing discussions under supervision. This position is designed to build foundational HR and consulting skills, with mentorship from experienced professionals and exposure to best practices in HR operations and advisory services. Qualifications

Foundational HR knowledge, including basic understanding of HR administration, employee lifecycle processes, and HR policies. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, keep accurate records, and meet deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including clear written communication, professional email etiquette, and the ability to provide virtual assistance and collaborate with diverse teams. Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort using spreadsheets or HR systems to collect, review, and interpret data. Proficiency with common office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentations) and willingness to learn HR software platforms. Attention to detail and a high degree of integrity, especially in handling confidential employee information. Ability to work on-site when required, demonstrate reliability, and adapt to a fast-paced consulting environment. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is preferred; internship or project experience in HR or administration is an advantage. Experience in consulting environments is an added advantage.
