About the Department

The repair workshop at the Dresden site supports the availability of our production equipment through the analysis, repair, and further development of electronic assemblies. The team combines electronics know-how with practical troubleshooting, measurement and test technology, as well as close cooperation with Maintenance, Equipment Engineering, and suppliers.

Job Profile

  • Systematic analysis and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies (power supplies, generators, motor drivers, control and regulation systems, measurement equipment), even without complete circuit documentation
  • Co-development of methods for circuit reconstruction and root-cause analysis
  • Participation in the spare parts strategy including analysis of obsolescence, make-or-buy decisions, and optimization of availability
  • Introduction and further development of standards and methods in the repair and analysis environment (e.g., diagnostic processes, test strategies)
  • Technical guidance and coaching of technicians and trainees
  • Structured documentation including creation and maintenance of circuit diagrams, error analyses, and technical reports

Required Qualifications

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, electronics, or a comparable technical degree program
  • Initial experience in the analysis and repair of complex electronic systems or the development/validation of corresponding hardware
  • Sound knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology, especially power electronics and control technology
  • Good skills in systematic error analysis (e.g., signal analysis, circuit reconstruction, root-cause methods)
  • Experience in the development of technical solutions or tools (e.g., test setups, analysis devices)
  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working during malfunctions
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Activity in day shifts (Monday to Friday with flexible working hours)
