ELECTRICIAN (GENERAL)

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and systems. Read and interpret electrical plans, diagrams, and technical specifications. Perform electrical installations for lighting, outlets, switches, panels, and other electrical components. Conduct testing and inspection of electrical systems to ensure proper operation and safety. Diagnose electrical faults and perform necessary repairs and corrective work. Ensure proper installation, connection, and grounding of electrical components. Use electrical tools, testing equipment, and materials safely and properly. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Maintain accurate records of electrical work, repairs, and maintenance activities. Follow electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures at all times. Coordinate with supervisors and other workers to complete electrical work efficiently and on schedule. Maintain a clean and safe work area and properly store tools and equipment. Perform other electrical and maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements: Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar electrical role. Knowledge of electrical wiring, installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, diagrams, and technical specifications. Skilled in using electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Knowledge of electrical safety standards, codes, and proper grounding procedures. Ability to identify electrical faults and perform appropriate repairs. Physically fit and capable of working in different locations and conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Electrical certification or license is an advantage. Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.
